This is a vinyl LP pressing of The Car by Arctic Monkeys. The English rock band released their seventh studio album on October 21, 2022, via Domino Recording Company. Produced by James Ford, the album was recorded at Butley Priory, Suffolk, La Frette, Paris and RAK Studios, London and it features frequent guest musicians Tom Rowley, Loren Humphrey and Tyler Parkford. The LP includes a wide array of genres that include orchestral rock, lounge pop, baroque pop, and funk, as well as elements of jazz. It also draws influence from soul music, electronic music, glam rock, bossa nova, traditional pop and vintage film soundtracks.

The album received critical acclaim upon its release, and its first track, "There'd Better Be a Mirrorball" was nominated for Best Alternative Music Performance at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards. Other singles "Body Paint" and "Sculptures of Anything Goes", have also been nominated for Best Alternative Music Performance and Best Rock Performance, respectively, at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards.
