This is a vinyl LP pressing of Messy by Olivia Dean. Messy is the English singer's debut studio album, released on June 30, 2023 through EMI Records. Olivia Dean began her career working in collaboration with the British band, Rudimental. She was named Amazon Music's 2021 breakthrough artist of the year, and cites Lauryn Hill, Amy Winehouse, Carole King and The Supremes as her musical inspirations.
Messy was shortlisted for the 2023 Mercury Prize, and NME rated the album 4 out of 5 stars, complementing Dean's "confidence to occasionally dissect subjects that others swerve" while keeping a "mainstream" appeal.
